Hullo, folks,
I was just wondering if there is any official a|state errata pages or the like available out there. Anyone have a listing of some such of the errata for the game? _________________ "You could say I'm a procurer of things that have not so much been lost, but need to be found." - Edgar Hellrick, lostfinder

No, there isn't an official errata but that's a bloody good idea! If anyone has particular page and paragraph references for mistakes they've spotted, please use this thread to post them and I'll collate into a PDF.
Cheers

Hullo, Malcolm,
I'm surprised that there has not been any errata spotted so far or mentioned by folks.
If you don't mind, I'll post a page of errata up to my website when this gets going and when I get a few more graphics for the a|state pages. _________________ "You could say I'm a procurer of things that have not so much been lost, but need to be found." - Edgar Hellrick, lostfinder

OK, and I don't have the book with me at the moment so it's from memory...
In the character creation example the player chooses a Drudge ?origin? and it is commented that as a Drudge they get an automatic folklore skill based on their Int. In the benefits for having a Drude ?origin? there is no mention of this addition. I'm assuming it's a hang over from an earlier incarnation.

Yes, this was something I noticed in the example of character creation given, and yet never could find a ruling anywhere else. I always assumed this to be in error. Hopefully Malcolm will comment on this. _________________ "You could say I'm a procurer of things that have not so much been lost, but need to be found." - Edgar Hellrick, lostfinder

That's not a mistake.
p154, 2nd paragraph, last sentence:
"Characters from the Dispossessed, Redundant and Drudge origins also gain a base level in the Folklore skill equal to 20% of their INT stat."
I did, notice, however, that the example character on p161 shows a REA score that has been divided by ten, which it should not be.
I noticed a very minor typo yesterday as well, but I can't remember where, and it was very, very minor. All told, I think the editing was pretty damn tight, especially by RPG standards. |

Got it, thanks.
As an intellectual exercise (as much as anything else) I'm trying to put together an Excel spreadsheet that will do all the character generation calculations for me. If one already exists then it'd be interesting to know (as while it's a pretty futile exercise anyway for the amount of times it'll be used, it's completely futile if one already exists!) |

Definite misprint or mis-binding on the part of the printers. I'll give you a replacement if you want.
Cheers

Hi there, does anybody know what the rules are regarding reach?? All melee weapons have a reach stat but there's nothing mentioned in the rules. Apart from that, I'm building up some lists of stuff for a/state, if anybody is interested, let me know.
