I was just wondering what people here thought of the possibility of cloning technology existing in The City. Not the "hard science" cloning like Dolly the Sheep, etc, but more of the stereotypical Sci-fi cloning, where the clones are essentially grown in vats over the course of weeks or months, and emerge fully formed with pretty much all the memories of the original.

| This I thought was the very crucible in which the Hirplakker Combine's Gene Pool Trooper programme was formed. |

I don't have the book in front of me (just moved back to civilization and it's still packed up), but I don't recall any mention of cloning, just good ol' fashioned genetic modification of their soldiers. _________________ Steve
